Then Versus Now
Every now and then we find ourselves in conversations about yesteryear. We see or talk to old friends and what we use to do comes up automatically. If we are not careful, the conversation could become a present activity. Who are you, that person from back then or the new person who has evolved to become a Daughter of Zion or that Mighty Man of Valor?
Our past is simply our past. In order to advance to our God ordained purposes, we must not only pass our past, but we must keep enough momentum to stay way ahead of it. Back then was the old you who had a short fuse. Right now is the new you packed with wisdom. Tomorrow, through obedience, is the undeniable you!
II Corinthian 5:17. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
