Hedge or Wedge

Too often, we find ourselves locked between two decisions. Truth be told, we are battling with two beliefs. We are really dealing with whether or not we want to upset somebody else because of their position on a given subject. Very few things in life are debatable. Purpose not to let the beliefs of others wedge you between truth and untruth.

Joshua stood up before the people and said, “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15).

This is what was said about Job, “Which rejoice exceedingly, and are glad, when they can find the grave? Why is light given to a man whose way is hid, and whom God hath hedged in? Job 3:22-24

I would much rather be hedged in than wedged in!
