All Wrapped Up

Christmas will be a little different for thousands of families this year. The virus has caused a domino effect for thousands in so many undesirable ways. The wrapping of gifts this year will have more of a solemn meaning to it. I can’t remember ever seeing with so many Christmas shows on TV. Christmas trees are sold out almost everywhere. People are looking forward to the real meaning of Christmas again. So it took something like COVID-19 to get us thinking about Jesus Christ again.

I am reminded of the saint of old who use to say on a regular basis, “I’m wrapped up, tied up, and tangled up in the Lord.” It’s amazing, the longer we stay wrapped up in the Lord the less terrible things happens to us and in the world.

Deuteronomy 5:32-33 Ye shall observe to do therefore as the Lord your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.
