Like an Animal

Often time’s biblical authors used animals in metaphors to make comparisons of the subject matter.

Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. Isaiah 40:10-12

If you had to compare yourself to an animal when it comes to your walk with the Lord, which would you compare yourself to? For me, I would start by saying I’m like a Lion. I would like to think that I have the courage the share God’s message to the people.
