Take Your Time

Philippians 4:5-7 NIV. Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The majority of us spend our lives in a hurry. We travel through life at the speed of sound. We actually miss out on so many opportunities because of our rate of travel. I had to learn to slow down, enjoy life, love people, and give back. We make impulse purchases that we regret later. We rush relationships without finding out keys things about the person. We give answers before the full question is asked.

Take some time to relax, breath, and take it to the Lord in prayer. He may not be the one. Now might not be the best time to make that purchase.
